Bay Area-Based Womenswear Livestream Host & Social Media Specialist

BETABRAND (www.betabrand.com) is a San Francisco womenswear company that launches new products daily to a LIVE audience of hundreds of thousands of interactive fans who shop, chat, and celebrate our latest creation. We’re seeking people with backgrounds in social media and broadcast entertainment to join our team. Responsibilities Host the daily live shows on the Betabrand website and encourage consumer engagement Work with the live team to brainstorm different show ideas/segments/ways to promote the new launches Drive show timeline and daily show cadence While live, respond to real-time customer inquiries, suggest other products or styles, demonstrate features/benefits, promote sales, help reduce any purchasing hurdles Set up and maintain content calendar aligning with the social media and email calendars to the live events Collaborate with the social media team, and Behind the Seams (BTS) team to promote the live show through Instagram, Facebook, and BTS via a shared content calendar Recruit guests to appear on the live shows to add expertise, variety, and entertainment Train guests and meet with them prior to the show to review all content Help videographers and producers create assets for the live shows when needed Shoot daily segments, shoot videos, etc. Requirements: Broadcast experience is a huge plus History of building a social media following is a plus, as it illustrates your ability to connect with and inspire an audience. Ability to work in a small team setting with quick turnarounds times A content-driven approach comes naturally or is interesting to you A natural conversation starter Strong communicator with the ability to take direction and feedback Excited to engage new and returning fans on a daily basis Intelligent, enthusiastic and commanding with a great personality and lots of energy If interested, please submit an audition video (shot against a solid wall) that includes an introduction and a quick summary as to why you’d like to work with the Betabrand team along with your resume.
