SENIOR MANAGER OF SOCIAL MEDIA

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and overseeing the execution of Digital + Social Media Strategy for the Betsey Johnson brand and consulting on digital strategy and innovations for the Steve Madden family of brands. This role, a senior level manager and strategist, is responsible for leading digital marketing and social media strategy to enhance business and brand objectives, including but not limited to content strategy, social promotion strategy, engagement strategy, conversion strategy, etc. This position will report directly into the Creative Director. Working cross-functionally with outside teams for approvals where necessary Lead copy editing for all social media copy Partner closely with PR/Influencer team, identifying opportunities within influencer programs and user-generated campaigns Partner closely with Product and Ecommerce teams to coordinate social media support for promotion and themes Manage social listening reports; identifying issues, patterns and trends in consumer comments/inquiries and summarize key themes monthly Measure and analyze to establish ROI determined by KPIs (Audience Growth, Audience Profile, Audience Engagement, Content Reach, Engagement by Content Type, Leads, Response Rate and Quality, Negative Feedback, etc.) Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reporting process for social media results and work closely with the Creative Director to provide insights, recommendations, and track against KPIs Lead digital strategy key product launches, celebrity collaborations and partnerships, events, and activations Align and work with legal for contest, campaigns, and influencer partnerships to ensure all programs are executed properly Must have experience managing a direct reports Job Specific Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred Strong desire to inspire creativity, innovative thinking and strong marketing concepts and solutions Experience developing social media marketing communication strategies and campaigns Brand copywriting/social media experience is critical Interest in and aptitude for developing digital brand marketing, social media and content strategy solutions across a variety of industries (fashion, luxury at a global brand is preferred, editorial background is a plus) Minimum of 5+ years of social media experience for a consumer brand and/or digital/social media agency Monitors the latest trends in social media to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations Strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of analytics and social reporting Comfortable with digital and social analytics software (Dash Hudson) Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from client's stated business objectives and implement those plans Exhibits solid communication skills to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to clients and internal teams - new business experience a plus Demonstrates understanding of and ability to facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting, and pacing, campaign creation and optimization Possesses well-developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and plan next steps across multiple marketing mediums Organized with the ability to self-manage through project managing skills in making tight deadlines across teams Enjoys and supports working on a team while being highly energetic and flexible in adhering to shifting deadlines.
