job description What This Position Is All About:Saksoff5th.com adds hundreds of new items onto the website each week and the Sample Assistants are the foundation that keeps this pipeline organized. The Sample Assistant is responsible for the organization and inspection of product samples and tracking the shoot lifecycle of the product. Who You Are:Strong passion for retailStrong organizational skills and passion for documentation and processKeen eye for detailsYou Also Have:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree requiredCompetency in Excel (v-lookups, sumifs, etc. )As The Sample Assistant, you will:Responsible for the physical organization of the sample closet including organizing samples by turn-in schedule or any other configuration as directed by the Turn-In ManagerTrack the whereabouts of samples - check items in when arriving at studio, check products out for photo shoots, check back in after shoot Check sample against ordered item to make sure it is the same and free of defects; report any item issues to the Assistant Manager.
