The position has the responsibility to meet all relevant requirements in cross-border shipping and business activities to ensure proper classifications, paperwork, and duties paid are in order at the time of entry. Obtains the necessary certifications for each transaction or shipment. Works with Finance and Import Transportation to provide the required documentation and ensure duty payments to the government are processed in a timely manner. Partner as needed to investigate and resolve inventory receiving issues (e.g. shortages) Perform periodic audits of import transactions for compliance and accuracy validation. Manage duty drawback program What You’ll Need: Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work-related experience US Customs Broker License a plus 5+ years of experience with apparel, shoes and accessories import/export knowledge strongly preferred Experience in HTS classifications, import duties, free trade zones and tariff engineering A deep understanding of U.S. customs regulations.
