We are searching for a passionate and talented Category Manager/Buyer to reside in St. Thomas, VI who will manage, coordinate and communicate the strategic direction of our luxury categories of jewelry and watches. The Category Manager/Buyer, in partnership with the Planning function, is responsible for managing the merchandise category sales, inventory, and gross margin and will identify sales trends. The primary responsibility of the position will be developing and refining the product assortments through vendor negotiation, product selection, and assortment management. •Keep up-to-date on product trends within and outside of Little Switzerland and Jewels product mix, as well as manage competitive positioning of product categories •Must be able to establish and maintain strong vendor relationships leading to vendor compliance
