VICE PRESIDENT SALES - Golf Accessories

As a part of the leadership team, this executive will lead the sales and profitability for golf accessories, hosiery and sleepwear. This seasoned leader will direct a team of sales executives and collaborate with merchandising, design, sourcing, customer service as well as retail and wholesale planning. Partner with merchandising and design to develop proper line assortment Develop specific account plans working with the retail planning team and sales manager Present product assortment and financial plan to retail customers Prepare sales contracts (buys) within accordance with the buying calendar and present to production planning Monitor retail sales information and adjust all models/sales with regards to all basic programs with the retail planning team and submit updated information to wholesale planning Collect and review all pertinent retail sales information from accounts and update all internal review forms and review this information with retail planning and sales managers. to discuss current and future business Work with marketing and Ecommerce departments to ensure brand image is consistent with set goals Prepare and update all necessary financial documents regarding shipments, givebacks, and profitability when necessary (monthly) and forward to the division controller 10-15 years experience launching and building brands with profitable sales growth Bachelor’s degree with a preference in business P&L experience required Experience leading high performing sales teams Experience building and executing strategic plans and marketing initiatives to drive profitable growth Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills (both written and verbal) Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to interact with all levels of personnel Effective people management skills with the ability to motivate Knowledge of product category (internal as well as external; competitors) Knowledge of brand management Conceptual and global thinking
