The primary responsibility of this role is to source, develop and manage international business opportunities for all of Perry Ellis International’s brands, including managing and continuing to build-out a global network of distributors across our brands in conjunction with executives for each brand, and working directly with the CEO on strategic projects. Manage and analyze global network of distributors on an ongoing basis to maximize performance and seek new distributors where necessary. Manage the entire new distributor identification and onboarding process from researching markets, sourcing potential distributors, introducing the applicable brand to potential distributors, discussing business model with potential distributors, analyzing business plans/proposals of potential distributors, identifying the best distributor fit in a territory and negotiating distribution agreements. 6+ years of business development or distributor management experience; apparel experience strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
