SR. BENEFITS MANAGER

Perry Ellis International, Inc. represents a diverse portfolio of lifestyle apparel brands. The Company enhances its roster of brands by licensing trademarks from third parties, including: Nike® and Jag® for swimwear, and Callaway®, PGA TOUR®, and Jack Nicklaus® for golf apparel.We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager of Benefits will be responsible for demonstrating thought leadership on the development of the benefits methodologies and approaches, leading the implementation of new projects and initiatives and directing the service delivery of the benefits programsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES     * Develop, communicate and administer competitive benefits strategies, including retirement, engagement and other work experience programs, that are cost effective and consistent with labor market trends and organizational objectives. * Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to proactively adjust programs to ensure market competitiveness     * Manage relationships and projects with external partners, consultants, and vendors  as it relates to benefits. * Provide strategic direction for the communication and education of benefits philosophy, programs, and policies across the organization MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS      * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field     * Minimum  of 5 years experience with benefits programs      * 7+ years in managing/leading a team     * Prior Human Resources experience preferred, including significant experience in the design and implementation of complex benefits programs     * Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FLSA, FMLA  and emerging regulatory issues preferred     * Strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of employees and managers     * Ability to professionally handle confidential information and associated issues     * Excellent business acumen, strong strategic planning and analytical skills
