## Job description \- Report to the Director, Business Process Improvement (BPI) \- Leverages best learning practices, standards, and processes to ensure that value is created through development and deployment of training materials \- Participates in group projects implementation within the SSC \- Manage impacts of local projects on the SSC \- Gatekeeper for the accounting processes group standards \- Assists in testing processes in order to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation or user's lack of experience \- Using data analysis tools, create queries and reports \- Monitors interfaces & applications impacting the accounting teams \- Assist on creation of SOPs, KPIs and SLAs update L'Oreal Accounting Shared Services - St. Petersburg, FL L'Oréal leads the world of beauty with 36 global renowned brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline, Lancôme, Ralph Lauren, Matrix, Redken, Carol's Daughter, SkinCeuticals, Essie, Kiehl's, YSL, NYX Professional Make Up, Urban Decay, and Mizani. We are the Accounting team at the L'Oreal Shared Services located in St. Petersburg, FL. We are currently actively looking for a: Business Process Improvement \- Be actively involved in Accounting projects to ensure continuous improvement \- Provides ongoing SAP expertise/support to the user SSC accounting community \- Prepare action plans to be reviewed with the Director - BPI \- Prepare status meetings and other committees related to accounting projects \- Be in charge of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) \- Provides ongoing Go Live user support \- Ensure that appropriate accounting standards are applied \- Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) before submitting to Director - BPI for validation \- If applicable, be in contact with external consultants that could participate to projects implementation in the SSC \- Make sure that internal control rules are applied in projects Information Technology \- Supervise the proper functioning of SSC IT systems and the master databases maintenance \- Supervise any SSC IT related issue and coordinate with the Group IT Department for resolution \- Supervise IT needs and IT initiatives provided by SSC operations and coordinate, with the Group IT Department, solution prioritization and implementation (business needs, testing) Systems \- Experience with SAP FI modules required - General ledger (GL), Accounts payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost and Profit center accounting and internal orders, etc. We are looking for strong accountants interested in a long-term career with the #1 beauty company in the world!
