LOSS PREVENTION STRATEGY MANAGER

A strategic manager that transforms data into insights and influences department and company change, with a primary focus on shortage, operations and company profitability. Shortage Analysis Completes deep dive analysis on all shortage data across the organization to include stores, DC’s/EFC’s and Call Centers, and generates all shortage trending reports Provides guidance and recommendations, builds shortage reduction strategy, based on product shortage trends Leads meetings  with GMM’s/Merchants on an ongoing basis to discuss shortage trends and to develop action plans to address shortage Guides Loss Prevention Field Organization on trends and action plans Builds annual shortage goals and measures performance Analytical Approach and Model Development Leads key strategic business processes and decisions Identifies data sources that can be used to drive data analysis and inform decision making Models data driven stories to influence key business processes and decisions Serves as owner/expert of major data sources that influence Loss Prevention Processes to include shortage, budgets, training, and theft trends Project Management Leads all product protection strategies that rely on data analysis Leads omni profitability that is focused on customer accommodations/appeasement, Customer omni fraud and carrier shipping fraud Leads additional profitability initiatives found through data analysis; to include returns and self-check-out  and other strategic initiatives Cross Functional Collaboration Collaborates with cross-functional partners to effectively deliver analytics and insights that inform strategy Effectively communicates analysis and impact to cross-functional partners Works independently with other strategic partners to design and guide analysis Leadership Acts as a Loss Prevention Liaison with Merchants, Finance, SOE and Human Resources Influences senior leadership on operational trends that drive margin performance Provide consistent and clear communication to Loss Prevention Leadership on trends and analysis Required 3 to 5 years experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning , Technology or similar field Capable of working with and presenting to all levels of Leadership Self-directed and motivated individual comfortable working in collaborative environment Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and internal database systems Ability to develop business cases for process changes Preferred Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology 5+ years Retail background Special Requirements Travel may be required including overnight stays Kohl's is an equal Opportunity Employer and an organization that values and encourages diversity among our applicants.
