Responsibilities: Creation/Design Develop technical flats, design sheets and mood boards with respect clients established or aspiring brand image Review development samples for approval Troubleshoot when issues arise either in-house or aboard regarding design and fabric choices Attend fittings and provide effective feedback which includes potentially changing sketches as necessary Ensure all calendar deadlines and productivity targets are being met Research and analyze industry trends: Current Fashion trends, Uniform trends, Etc. Requirements: Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30 in person at our facility on Sunrise. Experience communicating with overseas factories daily and ensure requests are completed. Minimum of 2 years fashion design experience Samples of Previous Designs Proficient is Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word In depth knowledge of textiles, materials, construction and fit Advanced knowledge of garment development process, fabrics, patterns, and construction Proactive, self-motivated, advanced knowledge of how to delegate and still meet deadlines with a get it done attitude Must have contemporary experience and have worked in a fast pace environment Must be able to effectively communicate ideas and have a “big picture” understanding Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant shifting priorities and change Ability to manage workload and people effectively Advanced sketching and CAD ability Use of Corel Graphics preferred Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Holidays Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: Sunrise, FL 33351: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Graphic design: 1 year (Required) Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
