Fashion Stylist A professional Fashion Stylist has a love for fashion enjoy trends spotting and have an eye for style They must develop the essential skills of dressing by body shape identifying and styling for the correct skin tone and expertise of styling women for some of lifes most important occasions Recognizing and meeting your clients needs You need to be able to empathize and help your client create their own look that they love not just dress them in what you would prefer With a sharp eye for detail and the ability to think on your toes to be confident and energetic to make decisions on the fly Our staff members are titled professional stylist because they give fashion advice to ensure that clients will be able to showcase their desired fashion image In general our stylists are able to combine the latest fashion trends with the clients personal taste which is critical to ascertain that they will be able to convey the look that the client wants to achieve In addition they will be the liaison between client and seamstress for any alterations that need to be completed on behalf of the client for the perfect look on their special dayGEOGRAPHIC REGIONPlease note applicants out of the geographic region for position applied will not be consideredDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures opening and closing checklist tasks are completed daily Providing excellent customer service through our selling process Accurately amp relentlessly selecting merchandise to create head to toe looks for clients Starting and maintaining personalized fitting room for each client Building strong and lasting relationships with clients Participating in the overall upkeep of the store Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of product Contributing to achieve and surpass the stores daily weekly amp monthly sales goals The ability to engage relate amp captivate customers on a personal basis A true fashionista as shown in hisher wardrobe amp style Up-to-date with all fashion trends in accessories shoes amp apparel Giving customer expert advice after accessing there needs and wants Knowledge of garment fit amp basic alteration techniques Computer savvy and ability to learn new programs and apps quickly High School diploma or equivalentQUALIFICATIONS 5 years experience as fashion stylist or sales associate in luxury clothing evening wear or bridal Basic knowledge of the alteration process of high end evening wear or luxury clothing Computer proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word Excel Outlook etcPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The employee is frequently required to stand walk twist reach forward and exercise repetitive foot and wrist motion and finger dexterity The employee must frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally pushing and pulling up to 30 poundsSUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISEDReports directly to the Retail Store Manager and National Sales Director Does not exercise supervision over any positionCOMPENSATION Base hourly wage 15 - 20hour Commission Potential to make up to 100k year based on salesJob Type Full-timePay 1500 - 3500 per hourBenefits Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time offShift Day shiftWeekly day range Monday to Friday Rotating weekendsAbility to commuterelocate Boca Raton FL 33431 Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work RequiredExperience Retail Sales 5 years RequiredLanguage English RequiredWork Location In person
