Fashion Design Intern

We are looking for a Fashion Designer Intern that provides help with the following activities: - Research current fashion trends and incorporate them into design concepts - Attend fashion shows and industry events to gather inspiration and stay updated on the latest trends and sourcing of materials - Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure accurate production of designs - Knowledge in construction and sewing of prototypes and samples using sewing machines and other tools - Conduct fittings and make adjustments to garments as needed -A Bachelors or Associate degree in design or fine arts is preferred, but not required -Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools - Strong knowledge of color theory, fabric types, and garment construction techniques - Ability to illustrate designs by hand or using computer software - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team This position offers the opportunity of growth in the company and be promoted to a Fashion Designer Associate Role. Pay: From $16.00 per hour
