DIRECTOR, DESIGN - SWEATERS/DRESSES/ACCESSORIES

With approximately 1,300 boutiques and outlets throughout the U.S., as well as an online presence for each of our brands, it takes sophisticated technology, resources and infrastructure to ensure the continued success of our businesses. This position is responsible for clearly directing and driving the cohesive design and execution of the assigned categories and collections while maintaining the brand’s integrity. This position is responsible for mentoring, guiding, and developing the design team through its evolution in its organization, processes, and its partnerships with all cross-functional teams both internal and external while fostering a culture that ensures accountability. Owns the design process and guides innovation responsible for being highly influential in the development of the seasonal and monthly concepts and trends expanding beyond the origination point into a cohesive collection. Drives and coordinates the calendar and process through the design team and cross-functional teams; evaluating and enhancing as needed to ensure objectives and deadlines are met.
