DIGITAL ART DIRECTOR

The Details…Our digital art director is a creative leader on the team and has accountability for the final creative product for digital commerce design across all digital marketing channels. What exactly does a Chico’s FAS digital art director do? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 8+ years digital design experience, including ecommerce, digital marketing—experience in vertical retail/fashion/luxury/beauty industry preferred 3+ years in a creative management role Strong digital portfolio demonstrating clean, pixel-perfect design, user-centered and intuitive design solutions Experience with responsive design (I.e. Bootstrap principles) and “mobile-first” theory; experience with atomic design theory preferred Skills in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, knowledge of best practices and the development process required; expert in digital typography, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Experience incorporating motion graphics, animation and video into digital marketing Solid understanding of web accessibility guidelines Experience in managing multiple complex creative projects with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs Experience leading design reviews and providing clear feedback Excellent presentation, communication, organizational agility, problem solving skills, and thorough attention to detail Strong relationship-building skills, the ability to coach other designers and a track record of successfully working collaboratively across teams Like what you read?
