ASSOCIATE TEXTILE DESIGNER

The associate textile designer is responsible for supporting the creation and production of original graphic and/or textile print designs that appropriately reflect the assigned brand’s aesthetics within assigned calendar deadlines Create original artwork for prints, woven's, and graphics seasonally in support of multiple brands as needed. Ability to translate trends, concepts, and direction for creation of brand specific prints Create original artwork from design direction Advanced skill level using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Ned Graphics  to execute designs, color reduce, put into technical repeat, and manipulate purchased artwork Research current trends and concepts in order to create brand specific original artwork. Proficiency and expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics or related program Strong artistic background including the ability to create conceptual and final art in several different mediums General knowledge of print and textile design. Good interpersonal communication and collaboration with cross functional partners
