The Fashion Design summer track focuses on the major aspects of the fashion industry and prepares students for careers and/or postsecondary education in this rapidly growing field. · Give exact instructions on how the projects should be assembled • Create and implement an age-appropriate 6-week-long curriculum that progressively builds on elements and principles of fashion design and creation • Set up and prepare materials for each class, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for students • Complete daily attendance accurately • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, enforcing safety rules and procedures related to the use of sewing machines • Progressive development of student skills leading to a final project • Promote positive character development in students • Provide a fun, encouraging, and disciplined atmosphere • Participate in facilitated reviews and student progress monitoring meetings for attendance, academic and social-emotional learning. · Apply the elements and principles of design in various aspects of the fashion industry • Associate’s required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • One-plus years experience working with high school students Apply for position Summer Teacher/Tutor - College Impact Job Opening ID 531707
