Writer, Beauty & Fashion, CNN Underscored

This role is also tasked with tracking and implementing evergreen article updates and researching and writing sales/deals articles. We are seeking someone with several years' experience covering fashion and beauty for a major publisher, a proven ability to write commerce articles in a personable and non-jargon way, experience writing reviews and feature content, and in-depth knowledge of the latest beauty and fashion trends. The right candidate can quickly adapt to the CNN Underscored voice and audience but is also encouraged to test creative new angles and help us continue to expand our beauty and fashion coverage. Qualifications & Experience... • College degree in journalism or a related field preferred • 4+ years of editorial experience covering beauty and fashion at a major publisher, ideally in a product-review and/or commerce capacity • Deep knowledge of the beauty and fashion space with strong contacts in the industry • Passion for employing shopping strategies and finding the best deals • Flawless grammar & spelling • Strong creative and writing skills • Must be detail-oriented, organized and have strong communication skills • Position reports to CNN Underscored Beauty Editor Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros.
