Below are the details of the positions.Who You Are: An out of the box thinker who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve the way things are done Generates a variety of approaches to problem solving including new and novel ideas You get things done by engaging in high level teamwork and flexing your interpersonal skills You Also Have: 1-3 years wrap and pack experience Must possess the ability to lift and carry boxes (app weight 50 lbs), move and maneuver rolling equipment: pallets, flat bed carts, rolling racks), climb safety ladders (app 6 feet) Must demonstrate computer proficiency and the ability to use available technology (small package manifest system, package tracking, small package reporting etc) As The Wrap and Pack Associate, You Will: Wrapping and packing all customer sends to the Saks Fifth Avenue standard Ensuring all SKUs/UPCs match the packing slip or receipt Conducting a final overview of all merchandise prior to packing Ensuring all sensors are removed Folding and tissuing customer sends to standard and placed in an appropriate sized box for shipment Assessing and determining which product must be shipped flat versus hanging according to pre-determined standards. Over wrapping and gift wrapping product upon request. Manifesting all customers sends, including international shipments and manifesting sends properly by category to ensure all invoicing is accurate. Understanding and working with the small package carrier software and pulling and running reports as needed Looking up tracking numbers and responding to store and corporate inquiries Maintaining established Saks Fifth Avenue productivity and process standards and ensuring product received is wrapped and packed same day Ensuring all completed sends are on the loading dock prior to the arrival of the small package carrier.
