2.7 August Apparel is looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative team and help bring our concepts to life.

Based in the heart of the LA Fashion District, we’re a fast-growing B2B apparel company behind popular brands like Endless Rose, English Factory, Grey Lab, and Free the Roses. Since 2011, we’ve built a reputation for delivering on-trend, high-quality fashion and we’re just getting started.

What You’ll Do

Assist the design team in creating sketches, mood boards, and color palettes
Conduct trend research and support seasonal concept development.
Support with sample fittings, patternmaking, and technical drawings.
Help source fabrics and trims, track materials, and manage sample flow.
Communicate design specs to production and assist with resolving any issues
Support Photoshoot team and keep the design studio organized and maintain material/sample archives
Provide administrative support and work closely with the Creative Director.

What We’re Looking For

A strong eye for fashion, design, and trends
2+ years of experience in apparel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with technical flats
Great organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and a team-player attitude
A positive, can-do spirit and attention to detail

** Portfolio relate with Women's clothing is required **
