Women's Designer

Sustainable lifestyle fashion brand focused on comfort, innovation and style is hiring a Women’s Designer to lead and build the women’s assortment. This is an exciting opportunity to bring a POV for the Women’s assortment and lead the charge. Seeking a background in lounge and beach-like sportswear with skills in C+S... knits, ideally wovens as well, and a great taste level (prints, textures, etc). Lean team of 2 Designers (DD, This position) + Production person and TD Responsibilities And Requirements • Execute all sketches, details, and design packages for seasonal concepts with the partnership of the product development department • Attend fittings and review all incoming prototypes with leadership and development partners • Present seasonal products to the executive team, planning, and wholesale team • Organize and deliver all relevant design and concept information to applicable team members • Adequate experience with color theory and extensive pantone knowledge • 5-7+ years applicable womens ready to wear experience • Creative passion for design • In-depth knowledge of American vintage, swimwear, casual beachwear, and activewear • Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite • Strong knowledge of Excel for technical packages • Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, and wash processing • Strong knowledge of market trends and color • Highly motivated and hardworking • Clear and creative communicator • Detail oriented
