Woman's Fashion Fit Model - Contemporary Line

Job Description:

At Umgee, we’re a fashion brand that boldly empowers women of all ages by offering an eclectic mix of contemporary, young contemporary and plus size styles.

As part of the Umgee fit model, you will help our fashion designers in the initial stages of product development and design. Also, your responsibilities include communicating with the designers and production specialists about how the clothing fits and how the fabric feels, providing feedback about potential adjustments. We are looking for eager, motivated and career driven individuals to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Put on garment(s) and model in front of small group of designer and production department representatives
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while designer(s) and production specialist(s) adjust worn garment into desired fit
Collaborate and communicate in fit sessions with designer(s) and production specialist(s) to ensure all necessary updates have been adjusted to samples to improve overall fit (garment feel, fabric comfort, ease of getting garment on and off the body) for production approval

Height: 5’7” to 5’8”
Bust: 35” to 36”
Hip: 36” to 37"
Waist: 27” to 28”

Additional Requirements (Education, Training, and Experience):

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2 years fit model experience
Part-time (4 hours per day/ 3 times per week) - Hours subject to change depending on organizational needs
