Ensure enough operators are performing at appropriate skill level to meet the planned output, identify for future training needs and ensure effective training is carried out to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure permitted absence/holidays are managed in line with output requirements to avoid downtime. To effectively manage team members, maintaining a high standard of communication through team briefing, consultation, employee reviews and one to one conversations. Plan the loading of output/demand in conjunction with other Team Leaders/Departmental Manager to achieve best department efficiency. Ensure the company health and safety policy is followed by all operators within the section, and maintain the required levels of housekeeping.
