This role reports into the DC Operations Manager and coordinates closely with the day shift operations to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuation of order processing. The Warehouse manager trains and increases the efficiency of the systems of support such as the human resource working for the organization, IT department, etc. Assist and support the operations manager in all aspects of the distribution center Efficiently maintain the daily print backlog Strong background in receiving and shipping Working and manage departmental supervisors to manage daily operations (outbound needs, Processing, Packing, Shipping, etc. ), inventory control and assure optimal productivity Train supervisors on new and alternative methods of efficiency Manage employee productivity, quality assurance and work safety programs Work with IT and Maintenance to solve any technical or mechanical problems that may arise Manage manpower needs to ensure proper staffing in the assigned departments and scheduling temporary support when needed Engages and motivates team members, ensuring proper training and coaching Manage the distribution center in the absence of the manager and Open and close the building as needed Position Summary: Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
