PE backed, clean, cruelty free Skincare brand is hiring a VP of Social. “The VP of Social will rethink and grow our social presence and community. This person should be a jack of all social trades.” Overview:•    Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity•    Requires: Beauty/Cosmetics/Skincare experience + 5 years leading/managing a team•    Work from anywhere (can be fully remote)•    Brand new position!•    Overseeing influencer strategy, content strategy and affiliate strategy •    Full creativity and ownership •    4 social ppl on team (specialist/coord level spread across influencer, community, tiktok, FB/IG)•    Reports into CMO Job Description: Lead the vision, ideation, analysis, and execution of social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales Drive accelerated growth on existing social media channels and determine the optimal mix of new and existing platform launch strategies Build short term and long-term vision for influencer or affiliate program that aggressively and sustainably grows the community, overall brand awareness, and drives sales to retailer partners and DTC Ensure our social media strategy aligns with our brand values and actively promote CSR through social Build brand advocacy on organic social channels focusing on best-in-class community management and find innovating ways to grow the Community Develop content and campaign strategies to breakthrough that are new, better, different to compete with total skincare social landscape Bring a strong understand of the marketing funnel and apply your expertise across content strategy, influencers and paid ads Work hand in hand with brand marketing and creative to develop compelling and engaging brand assets and storytelling to drive new launches, support core hero products and bring brand storytelling to life Work across Marketing, PR, Creative, Retailer, DTC and Education departments to ensure that social strategy is aligned with brand priorities Create “of the moment” (“at the speed of culture”) content to complement pre-planned content. Define goals and KPIs for social platforms, ensuring they are being met and scaled Manage all social budgets ensuring we optimize and spend wisely (bring in new partners as necessary) & find efficiencies to reinvest in media.
