VP of Finance | Leading Fashion Brand | Hybrid

A leading, fast-growing lifestyle and fashion brand is seeking a strategic and hands‑on VP of Finance to join the leadership team. This is a high‑impact role driving financial strategy and operations while partnering closely with executives to support growth across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership experience within consumer products, retail, or wholesale environments, along with a strategic mindset and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting. This role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions, build and mentor a team, and help scale a dynamic, brand‑driven organization. The position reports directly to the CFO and oversees a team of 3 direct reports and 5 indirect reports.

This role is based in Northern New Jersey and follows a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
• Oversee full finance operations including general accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all functions.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing both annual budgets and monthly projections, and translating financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic decision‑making, offering financial analysis and scenario modeling to support growth, expansion, and new initiatives.
• Coordinate all tax, audit, and regulatory activities, ensuring adherence to local and international standards and proactively managing financial risk.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology, automation, and AI to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering collaboration, professional development, and a culture of accountability.
• Support business growth initiatives, including product launches, retail expansion, and brand development, with financial guidance and strategic insight.
Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 12‑20 years of progressive experience
• Experience with ERP Systems, Net Suite a plus
• Experience in consumer products, wholesale, distribution, or related industries
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Salary: $210,000 - $285,000 + Bonus
