Design Your Future at PVHVP, Enterprise Architect Applications - PVH Corp.The Application Enterprise Architect is a new role that will oversee the governance of PVH's application architecture, assist in building out an industry-leading enterprise architecture function, and drive the adoption of next-gen, flexible architecture to enable end-to-end business solutions. PVH seeks a true change agent who can elevate the technology landscape to the next level in a rapidly changing environment.The Application Enterprise Architect will be responsible globally for leading PVH’s application landscape strategy. S/he will set the vision and quality bar of its output, and represent it in all its forms internally and externally.This is a pivotal role that partners with other technology and business leaders at PVH, as s/he defines and evolves the supporting technology architecture, while sourcing, leading, and presenting forward-thinking, high-impact technology capabilities for PVH.We seek a results oriented leader who is passionate about applying program leadership, organizational discipline and technology to transform the retail apparel industry. S/he will also have a strong understanding of the latest trends and how to incorporate relevant emerging technologies, as well as demonstrated experience empowering team members to make recommendations and provide inputs in a highly collaborative environment.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:  Serve as the global thought leader in the applications solutions space for the enterprise; understand and predict emerging technology, service and functionality trends as well as comprehend market adoption of emerging service and business modelsDevelop and drive the implementation of overall PVH technology architecture strategy & roadmapDrive the PVH application solutions landscape and recommend industry standards/best practicesEngage business and technology leaders to develop scalable solutions for the businessDefine and enforce architecture principles & standards; lead Architecture ReviewsEnable the delivery of business outcomes; identify critical deficiencies as well as opportunities for digital transformation; propose solutionsSupport technology organization in achievement of key strategic objectives (e.g. increased adoption of agile)Understand and set direction regarding the strategic position of the application landscape, including ensuring the company has the required expertise - in-house or external - to support it Identify opportunities to standardize technology landscape for improved efficiency, effectiveness, & risk management while maintaining business responsivenessMaintain list of approved technologies and identify relevant new technologiesBuild and maintain relationships with business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs and opportunities for technology solution advancements/improvements.Negotiate in partnership with EVP, EA on global, cost-effective, and innovative solutions; stay abreast of industry trends in order to be competitive in the marketServe as a "trusted advisor" on application architecture and technology strategy questions to technology and business leadersOwn end-to-end business capability maps - developed in partnership other Enterprise Architects - across full suite of applicationsUnderstand and support documentation of application-enabled business processesProvide end-to-end view on how all applications fit together and enable users within and outside the enterpriseDevelop target state application reference architecturesDefine and implement POCs for proving new technologies and/or architecture patterns at enterprise levelDevelop and disseminate thought leadership in partnership with EVP, EA to the organization e.g. promoting best practices on enterprise architectureQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience:             8-10+ years’ experience architecting high performing, resilient and scalable web, cloud, mobile etc. )Excellent communication skills & ability to influence key technical & non-technical stakeholders; organizationally savvyKnowledge of new app-related technology trendsEducation:   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline; retail/consumer experience preferredGraduate degree is preferred.Skills:  Demonstrated ability to identify necessary modifications as well as enable new architecture solutionsDemonstrated business acumen & ability to stay ahead of & incorporate innovative new technologiesDemonstrated ability to balance long-term ("big-picture") and short-term implications of architecture decisionsExcellent communication skills & ability to influence key senior partners & stakeholders;
