Visual Merchandiser

Nordstrom is looking for an experienced and motivated Visual Merchandiser to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating an engaging and inspiring shopping environment for our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have a creative eye for design, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for creating visually captivating displays that will draw customers in and encourage them to make purchases. This role will also involve creating and executing store window displays that capture the attention of passersby and showcase Nordstrom’s products. The Visual Merchandiser will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all displays are in line with Nordstrom’s brand identity.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Proven experience in visual merchandising• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively• Proficiency with computer programs such as Adobe Creative Suite• Ability to lift and move heavy objects• Knowledge of current fashion trends• A keen eye for detail• Positive attitude and customer service skills\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n• Create visually captivating displays that will draw customers in and encourage them to make purchases
• Execute store window displays that capture the attention of passersby and showcase Nordstrom’s products
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all displays are in line with Nordstrom’s brand identity
• Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards and guidelines
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance where needed
• Provide customer feedback to store managers, marketing, and other personnel
• Keep informed of current fashion trends and new product lines
• Ensure displays are properly merchandised and maintained in an orderly fashion
• Implement creative visual merchandising strategies and techniques
• Keep accurate records of product placement and sales
• Participate in store events and promotions
• Ensure that all displays follow Nordstrom’s safety regulations
