This is a valuable and important position within the company, and the ideal candidate would be an organized, self-starter who is detail oriented with a passion for vintage/fashion. -Managing and performing merchandise repairs, alterations, tailoring, restoration, and preservation -Caring for and laundering various types of clothing -Cleaning garments by hand washing, line drying, using the washer/dryer, and other cleaning machines -Use of various different products for garment care, revival, and restoration -Managing merchandise dry cleaning schedule -Steaming and ironing clothing -Preparing merchandise for the store location, trade shows, sales, pop-ups and more -Caring for and maintain the merchandise in the warehouse, store, archive, etc. between the warehouse, archive, and store -Running various errands -Assisting the owners and company manager in various needs/tasks -Passion for clothing, especially vintage, is ideal. -Using a sewing machine and other sewing tools -Using various types of chemicals -Cleaning used clothing -Cleaning used shoes and other accessories -Preparation of clothing including the use of professional steamer and iron, etc. -Ability to work independently and collaborate well with a team -Comfortable taking direction and advice from team members -Must be practical, neat, organized, intuitive, proactive, and positive -Availability to work on the weekends for certain occasions -Using tall ladders and heavy lifting -English speaking; Eligible to work in US -Valid driver’s license is a plus -Background in fashion (from school or previous work experience) is a plus
