The Position: We are currently seeking an experienced retail sales associate/key holder to join our small team of passionate, vintage loving employees! We are a growing business and are looking for someone with a background in fashion retail who is interested in the ability to grow in a small business environment. * Must be available to work Fri-Sun as well as 1-2 weekdays totaling 20-25 hrs/wk) * Job Responsibilities: \\- Carry keys & alarm codes; Open & close store \\- Serve as an expert in customer service \\- Create a comfortable, upbeat environment for customers \\- Assist Buyers with sorting and tagging new items \\- Monitor fitting rooms \\- Respond to phone calls \\- Assist with merchandising \\- Answer questions about vintage fashion & items we carry \\- Promote sales and events \\- Maintain store cleanliness \\- Package online orders \\- Create & send invoices for online orders \\- Post on Instagram stories/feed promoting products & store happenings \\- Works with management on social media marketing initiatives \\- Stays up-to-date on new products arriving daily \\- Provide customers with knowledge about vintage clothing \\- Achieve daily sales goals Qualifications: \\- High School diploma or equivalent (18+ y/o) \\- Must have fashion retail experience to be considered (+1 years minimum) \\- Excellent customer service skills \\- Knowledge in basic math \\- Ability to take direction from management with enthusiasm \\- Familiarity with point of sale systems \\- Self motivated & have desire for self-development \\- Friendly and approachable \\- Honest & reliable \\- Excellent communication skills \\- Basic knowledge of excel spreadsheets \\- Adaptable & able to multitask \\- Willingness & desire to learn about vintage fashion \\- Knowledge of true vintage fashion necessary \\- Flexible schedule If you think you could make a great new addition to our small, tight-knit team, please don't hesitate to apply.
