Vintage Clothing Sourcer & Buyer Come join our amazing team at Garage Sale Vintage! This position will be responsible for helping to stock both our Downtown and East Nashville locations. If you love Vintage, and have experience sourcing please apply! Job description: ● Sourcing vintage clothing, vinyl, and hard goods in the field from multiple and varying locations ● Dating vintage clothing to reflect decade when it was manufactured ● Pricing vintage clothing based on quality, age, target profit margins, and industry standard comparables (comps) ● Responsible for inspecting and cleaning items as well as processing items to be floor ready ● Assistance with stocking and merchandising racks on floor ● Light mending or repair for damaged clothing ● Continuing education about vintage dating and current fashion trends Requirements: ● Must have reliable independent transportation and a valid driver’s license (daily driving may be required) ● Must be knowledgeable and experienced with sourcing, dating and appraising vintage clothing ● Experience with merchandising and/or reselling vending is a plus ● Must be able to lift 40+ pounds ● An eye for detail, love of organization, and a good team attitude Perks of working with us: ● Benefits for full time employees including healthcare insurance options, PTO, and sick leave ● Employee discount 15% off retail
