ux/ui Designer - Michael Kors

We have a fantastic new career opportunity for a talented Associate Watch Designer to join the Michael Kors brand, specifically for Wearable technology. What you will be doing: \- Collaborating with the team to conceptualize and design 2D digital watch face designs for the Michael Kors Access smartwatch collection \- Creating animations for a small screen using After Effects and Sketch \- Creating designs with user interaction in mind \- Working closely with software engineers to ensure your designs are implemented in the best possible way \- Ideating and presenting new dial designs for every season \- Researching the latest fashion and technology trends and reflecting them in your designs \- 2+ years working with UI / UX or equal design required \- Graphic design experience preferred \- Understanding of 2D motion graphics / animations required \- Experience in consumer electronics 2D design is highly desired \- Full understanding of the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects) \- Experience with other prototyping and motion graphics tools like Lottie, Framer and Studio a plus \- Flexible; must have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment \- Excellent organizational skills \- Knowledge of competitive retail market \- Passion and understanding of the brand \- Strong communication skills (not only within the design team, but the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, photography, PR, etc) \- Ability to adapt to new changes quickly, effectively, and with a positive attitude
