Adecco is partnering with an established and successful retailer in the Taunton, MA area for an experienced UX/UI Designer to assist with their branding. What is in it for you? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Helps create innovative and clean design concepts using best practices to enhance website functionality and user experience Executes on phases of the design process from wireframing concepts and mocks to final hand-off to developers and QA Conducts industry and competitive research on UI best practices and solutions to UI challenges Develops technical and business requirements and deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions Translates wireframes into high-quality user interface designs using industry best practices Develops UI mockups and prototypes that deliver pixel-perfect implementation of design comps across multiple breakpoints to ensure the best UX across various browsers and device form factors Applies design and development best practices including naming conventions, code styling, etc. Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Web Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field 4+ years of experience in responsive web design & web development technologies with eCommerce experience UI/UX Front-end development skills – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap Solid understanding of the capabilities of web browsers across multiple platforms Proficiency in building cross-browser and cross-device responsive interfaces Strong knowledge of design tools - Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc. Portfolio demonstrating clean, intuitive, and functional UX design Comfortable using web analytics and qualitative data to inform design Passionate about design and UX Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across various audience Knowledge of code repository tools and concepts such as GitHub Retail/consumer goods web experience is a great plus Portfolio of samples is required Must be able to travel to and from East Taunton, MA minimum 3 days per week for team collaboration Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
