(USA) Director, Fashion Design - Denim

This mission serves as the foundation for every decision we make to create the future of retail, from responsible sourcing to sustainability and everything in between. As a Design Director of Fashion, you will be responsible for creating designs exclusively for Private Brands and develop trend strategies that support the Walmart Apparel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) merchandising goals. Lead the design vision, execution and identify of each brand, ensuring the merchant strategy and brand guidelines are followed to ensure a consistent design aesthetic on the floor and online. • Brand Customer Experience and Shopping Habits: Delivering world-class Walmart exclusive brand experiences across all channels (e.g., Walmart stores, http://Walmart.com) by offering private label collections of high-quality, high-value products. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field • 10+ years of experience in apparel design, with deep expertise in denim • Proven leadership experience managing design teams • Strong eye for trend, proportion, fabric, and wash development • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills • Experience working with global sourcing and vendor networks • Ability to balance creativity with business objectives in a high-volume retail environment
