Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer operations with integrity
Conduct product demonstrations and suggest upselling opportunities to maximize sales and promote new arrivals
Maintain well-stocked displays by merchandising merchandise thoughtfully and restocking items as needed
Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and organizing backstock to ensure an inviting store environment
Provide detailed product knowledge to customers, answering questions about fabrics, fit, and styling options
Support in conducting product demos and promotional events to boost sales and brand awareness
Skills
Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
Strong supervising skills or previous supervising experience in a retail setting
Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele effectively
Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling, balancing registers, and managing sales reports
Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries
Experience in merchandising, stock management, and retail store product knowledge to create appealing displays
Demonstrated upselling techniques to enhance sales performance while maintaining customer satisfaction
Familiarity with cashiering procedures, cash drawer handling, and retail store policies
