Unique Fashion Opportunity Chicago-based Fashion & Accessories Designer and Artist is recruiting an assistant to play an essential production role in the delivery of key fashion projects. The Ideal Candidate: Passion for every aspect of the fashion design and construction process, the keenest eye for detail, solid and verifiable experience along with a reliable personality are essential prerequisites for this position. The ideal candidate will have a background and wide experience in fashion including; surface graphics, fabric manipulation, garment construction and will be able to demonstrate a wide variety of stitching/sewing/machining techniques. Duties: The successful candidate’s duties will mainly consist: sewing, stitching, creating & cutting stencils, prototyping, construction, fitting and embellishing with a wide variety of materials and trims.
