Job Overview: The Trend Forecaster is an exciting new role at REVOLVE! Other duties may be assigned. Assist in making trend right decisions - curating seasonal color stories, prints, fabrications and trend/mood reports Partner with our 3P and OB buying teams to identify key emerging trends for purchase Collaborate with our e-commerce merchandising teams on email/homepage communications Share important social events and happenings within specific regions to promote through social media Curate weekly trend stories along with bi-monthly fashion based trend reports to share across buying, merchandising, brand marketing and performance marketing Partner with our OB division on forecasting trends with our designer team Required Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Candidate should organically immerse themselves in fashion, runway shows, designers, culture, music, social media, etc Candidate must be able to predict trends and identify them before, during and after runway shows and be able to identify cultural trends as they hit influencers and celebrities Have a strong trend-focused, forward thinking mindset Strong understanding of the Revolve lifestyle and brands Detail oriented and organized Lead various projects from start to finish all the while ensuring each party in which changes are implemented is informed of impacts or updates that need to be made Must think long-term in regards to optimizing processes and implementing reporting Proven ability to lead project meetings Understands our target audience and knows what they want, in terms of styles, fitting, and colors Minimum Qualifications: College educated Proficient in Gmail, excel, word and online navigation Industry experience and interest required Understanding of garment bodies and fashion trends 1 years experience in fashion or related industries Prior experience as a Trend Forecaster or similar role required A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
