Responsibilities Communicate with the Trend Director to understand the overall trend and color strategy that Forever 21 will beimplementing by season, brand or style Assist in compiling the color forecast to serve as the base for each brand’s trend package by researching and forecastingcurrent fashion trends and colors Pull and itemize items, grouping them by brand/style in order to gather all necessary materials to create trend packages Create a trend package for assigned brands defining the company’s trend/color direction and suggestions for the Buying teams Manage the research, compilation and distribution of the trend package for assigned brands, ensuring that all trendpackages are delivered to buying teams meeting all assigned deadlines Utilize a team of textile graphics designers in order to create compelling items to accompany trend and color directionprovided in trend packages Assist with ad-hoc trend reports and questions from Buying teams as necessary Qualifications Must have an Associate of Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising or similar Must have 5+ years of combined experience in Buying and Trend Forecasting roles Must have a strong ability to spot fashion colors and trends Must have a great eye for design and the ability to research and track the latest trends Must have intermediate proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have strong problem-solving skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business and organizational skillsnecessary to complete multiple tasks within deadlines The salary range for this position is $62,139 - $75,003 annually.
