## Key Role Overview
This Way ONward Sales Associate at the Galleria At Tyler is a store-based, customer-facing retail role focused on delivering excellent service, product expertise, and operational support. The associate will engage customers, educate and outfit them using product knowledge, support store priorities, and help bring the Old Navy brand to life while building customer loyalty and meeting productivity expectations.
## Key Responsibilities
- Engage and connect with customers by providing excellent customer service and product expertise.
- Educate, inform, inspire and outfit customers using knowledge of the merchandise assortment, promotions, and events.
- Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently, including completion of work before or after store hours as needed.
- Serve as a role model to achieve store priorities with the customer as the primary focus.
- Support the store leadership team and collaborate effectively with employees to ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and share expertise in an assigned specialized functional area.
- Listen and ask questions to solicit feedback, understand customer needs, and provide service.
- Handle unique or complex customer interactions courteously and professionally.
## Required Qualifications
- Has successfully completed job readiness training at one of Gap Inc.’s nonprofit partners.
- Effective communicator with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and team members to meet goals.
- Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, open to feedback and able to take action as required.
- Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
