We currently have an excellent opportunity for a fulltime Textile Designer in our corporate office in Chatsworth, California. Responsibilities:· Working from purchased artwork and tear sheets· Performing color separations· Creating all-over repeats, borders, placements, screen prints, digital prints, and embroideries· Creating multiple color-ways in Easy Coloring· Hand sketching and painting· Conducting trend research and preparing trend boards· Designing mood boards for each collection in each brand· Entering print information into PLM· Creating and maintaining print line sheets· Designing accessories· Working closely with the team to accomplish daily rushes· Miscellaneous administrative and support tasks as needed Requirements:· At least five years of textile design experience in the apparel industry· Excellent Photoshop and Illustrator skills· Excellent organization skills· Great design aesthetic· Knowledge of color theory· Detail oriented, proactive, and the ability to multitask· Advanced color separation skills· Ability to create, color, and clean production-ready files· Proficiency in NedGraphics or other textile software preferred· BFA or AA in textile or graphic design We have a friendly and team-oriented work environment along with a competitive salary and benefit package, frequent onsite perks such as food trucks and catered lunches, flex schedule options, and an excellent opportunity to learn and grow.
