TEMP QUALITY CONTROL ASSOCIATE

Start: ASAPEnd: Up to 3 months Hours: Full timeLocation: Los Angeles, CA Our apparel client's manufacturing team is growing and looking for a 3 month temporary full-time Quality Control Associate. Mileage will be reimbursed. What you'll do: Conduct daily factory visits in the Greater Los Angeles are to ensure quality deliveries Identify and troubleshoot with operators at the factory on any sewing and cutting construction issues Work with the production team daily to call out any production issues at the factory Notify production manager if any production is falling behind and not on the lines Spec garments to confirm they achieve the target measurement Check care label and basic trims for correct content details Provide QC release audit forms / audit records to contractors and production team Conduct a Quality Control inspection 2.0-2.5 AQL for each purchase order Prepare monthly summaries of quality issues for the Production Manager and team to review and for presentation to the senior management team Manage the Vendor/ facility database and documentation Manage the compilation of the quarterly vendor compliance reports Who you are: Minimum of 5 year of experience in quality control in the Apparel Industry Proficient in Microsoft Office and Dropbox Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong attention to detail Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and able to prioritize multiple task Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Problem analysis and problem solving Knowledge of sewing in garment construction Must have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic Must have a vehicle and car insurance as this person will be traveling around the LA area.
