Start Date: January 2022 Duration: 5 months Location: Los Angeles, CA FT Hours Job Description: Responsibilities: Partner with Design and Merchandising to achieve target cost margin through raw material selection and allocation; ensure products meet and exceed quality expectations Effectively develop and manage Production team Build and manage seasonal Time-In-Actions with suppliers to meet seasonal deadlines for development and procurement Attend fittings as needed to ensure calendar and cost is being maintained Oversee hand offs with PD/Design and suppliers Advise Merchandising and Sales on delivery and margin challenges as they arise Handle final cost negotiation with factory as soon as orders have been passed Drive weekly factory meetings covering pre-production and production Ensure testing protocols are established and adhered to Own the allocation of all styles for production Alert Merchandising and Customer Service of problems and resolutions as they arise Establish simple, comprehensive line planning materials for process innovation that are fact based and brand driven Manage communication with manufacturers on raw material cut-offs and receipts, ensuring timely and appropriate delivery of goods Qualifications: 10 years of Production experience, primarily in apparel Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external parties Ability to analyze data at a high level
