We are working with a growing and leading supplier of retail fabrics, finished products, packaged crafts, and specialty fabrics servicing a range of global customers. The company is looking for a Technical Manager for their Digital Printing facilities south of Charlotte, NC in a permanent or consulting capacity. Desired salary range of $80K to $90K. The Digital Printing Specialist will report to the VP of Digital Operations and will be providing education, guidance on efficiency and equipment improvements, providing insight/conducting research on applicable digital machine and ink technologies, making mechanical adjustments and improvements to equipment and ink systems, moving and installing machines in their 2 facilities, making recommendations/improvements in a variety of areas including maintenance and upgrades, quality improvements, new technologies/applications for the Decorative Fabric business. The right candidate will know how to repair and maintain digital printing equipment (replacing print heads, electronics, etc.).
