We are a Contemporary Apparel Wholesale Brand based in Los Angeles seeking a hardworking and detail-driven full-time Technical Designer. Essential Duties and Required Experience: Oversee the fit, quality and construction of product from initial design tech pack pass-off through production Create development tech packs with technical sketches, garment specs and construction Lead all fit Model booking, fast-paced fittings and issue comments meeting specific account needs Evaluate garments each round of fitting against previously made comments, check measurements, trims, colors, materials and construction Sample tracking, fit T & A and uploading tech packs into our product management system Communicating daily with our China factories Correspondence with account Buyers regarding fit comments Strong communication skills Filing and proper record keeping Candidates must be accurate, detail-oriented, have excellent follow-up capabilities, and able to prioritize and handle several projects simultaneously. This is a fast-paced environment so must be able to work quickly. Education/Experience: At least two-year degree in Apparel Manufacturing or related discipline At least 3 years technical design industry experience from development through production Microsoft Excel knowledge is mandatory Ability to sketch CADs in Adobe Illustrator a big plus! Mandarin speaking a plus!
