Swimwear Beachwear Woman’s, Men’s & Kids Manufacturer seek Swimwear Technical Designer in office 5 days a week Responsible for completing accurate technical packages and ensuring they are sent to vendors on time Develop comprehensive graded specs; help determine grade tables and tolerances Fill out specification sheets to send overseas makers for production, including grading Work closely with buyers, account managers, designers and patternmakers to ensure proper fit of swimwear on live model or mannequin; inspect construction/workmanship Provide detailed evaluation for each fit sample which may include pattern corrections, sketches, photos and fit comments to agents/vendors Ensuring swimwear meets quality standards throughout production process Communicate daily with international vendors and agents Prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met Organized and reliable. team player Ability to express ideas clearly both orally and in writing Strong swimwear construction, patternmaking, QC and basic grading knowledge Excellent fitting skills and an eye for detail Excellent working knowledge of Excel
