Ensure products achieve the fit, construction and quality requirements to meet customer expectations, brand positioning and are aligned with Design and Merchandising objectives. Core Accountabilities: Adhere to calendar deadlines for on-time delivery of product Recommend materials and construction techniques to meet or exceed IMU goals set by Merchandising Use PLM system to manage technical specs for assigned departments from Design hand-off to Production Work closely with Design counterpart to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the technical development process Own and manage ordering of development samples, including complete sample tracking process, to ensure samples arrive on-time to meet calendar deadlines and key presentation meetings. Evaluate sample execution with Design and communicate sampling performance with Suppliers Communicate the specification and product details in timely manner with Sourcing partners and Suppliers, so that they can manage the item costing process Own and manage the fitting of all samples from 1st Proto through final production approval Lead fit sessions and own process of advising/correcting specification packages to meet the design aesthetic & company financial goals, while maintaining the appropriate fit for the EB customer. Education/Experience Required: 5-7 years’ work experience in garment manufacturing, Technical Design, and specification development.
