Job Description This is a full-time role for a mid to senior-level technical designer who is meticulous with details and driven by the technical aspect of the design process. The person in this role will bring drive and passion for developing technically sound garments with fabulous fit that cater to the body con LA woman. The ideal candidate will be an out-of-the-box thinker who can collaborate with the existing team, outside vendors, and across all levels of the organization. The major responsibilities of this role include evaluating and specifying samples, illustrating pattern corrections and style comments, detailing comments and addressing garment corrections, collaborating with tech, design, PD, and purchasing, leading fit sessions, ensuring timely sample processing, and managing a team of tech designers. Some key competencies required for this role include strong knowledge of construction and patterns, fabrics and their applications, target specs, POMs, and grading.
