Technical Designer

Position Overview: Contemporary multi-brand women’s wear company in NYC is seeking a Technical Designer. We are looking for professionals who are detail-oriented, motivated to achieve goals and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a small growing team Duties and Responsibilities: Organize sample closets Take sample pictures Measure sample and prepare specific for fitting Take notes and photos and participate with the team in live fitting Create or/and support to completing fit comments and tech packs with clarity and accuracy Digitalize paper patterns Qualifications: Highly organized, including ability to managing deadlines and change priorities Knowledge of pattern making, garment construction and sewing techniques Ability to meet deadline demands Expert in Microsoft Office Proficency in Adobe, CAD a plus Knowledge of Gerber, AccuMark, Lectra or alternate computer pattern making software a plus 2-5 years industry experience
