Position overview: Will create product specifications and fit execution from concepts through production that accurately reflect design intent and correct fit. Knowledge & experience working in Illustrator, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Photoshop Understanding garment construction Pattern knowledge – checking for balance – fit issues Excellent Communication skills – verbal, written, & presentation Use of visual illustrations for clarity in comments Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work in fast-paced environment Work closely with design in fitting to maintain styles’ integrity Understanding of production scheduling Experience in both knit and woven - tops & bottoms · Attend fittings, issue revised specs, & relate fit comments to overseas factories · Measure samples prior to fittings · Enter all data into technical package via PLM · Complete detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator · Provide the Production team with accurate and complete tech packs for factories · Prepare spec sheets for factories relative to sample details · Stay current with trends and technical advances · Factories receive up-to-date information · Work closely with pattern makers, designers, production team Compensation The successful candidate will enjoy competitive compensation and benefits, matching 401K, Flexible Spending Plan, Paid Time Off, casual attire and company discounts.
