Fast-paced creative fashion brand looking for a technical designer/assistant designer Workroom location in North Bergen, NJ Responsibilities: -Work with head designer to develop men’s and women’s apparel -Attend fittings and review samples -Create and communicate information for detailed tech packs -Make technical corrections and comments for samples Requirements: -2+ years of design experience in fashion apparel -Must be excellent in technical flat sketch -Must be able to create detailed tech packs -Must be highly proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft excel -Must understand garment construction and able to communicate and write technical detail corrections and comments -Must have knowledge of grading specs and grad rules -Must be well organized and detail oriented -Strong communication skills -Must have fashion styling skills and a good eye for fashion -Must be fully vaccinated -BA/BFA in fashion -Must be able to commute to workroom in North Bergen, NJ
